Welcome

The trip is meant for foreign and Finnish students and young adults who’d like to spend time together for a weekend. The programme (see below) makes it possible to do indoor and outdoor activities and explore aspects of Christian faith under the theme “Into the Depth”. The programme will be carried out in both Finnish and English – by means of interpretation and/or mixed English groups for the lessons and workshops. The trip is organised by the Student and International Services of the Evangelical Lutheran Parishes in Oulu, Christian student organisations and the Sarastus Choir. Welcome! Tervetuloa!

Yeah, what do these letters – לוקא – stand for? Guess! It’s Hebrew, and it simply says Luke… From January onwards ICFO will worship in the St. Luke’s Chapel nearby the University of Oulu (Yliopistokatu 7). However, please note that there is one exception, the trip to Hailuoto on 3.2. Welcome! Tervetuloa! More information in the section Activities.

Programme
Lunch, grilling sausages, worship service in Finnish & English, get-together & fellowship, outdoor activities. Please bring along skis, toboggan sleighs, warm clothing and a cheerful mood… It’s also possible to stay inside in the congregation centre of Hailuoto ;-)
