Christians serving in English and/or doing international work on a local level, especially, in Oulu.

What’s to be done?
Come and give a short presentation about your Christian ministry and the reasons to serve in English and/or do international work in Oulu:
- background and mission
- statement of faith
- activities and communications
- possible areas of cooperation

Share your views and ideas ;-)

Why to come?
- to network
- to get to know each other
- to work together
as sisters and brothers in Christ and for the glory and kingdom of Jesus!

Sing Song

It’s over but here are two videos – tune in ;-)

For everybody who loves to sing songs to and about God, there will be a ’sing song’ (an informal singing evening) on Friday 25.4., starting around 18.00, at Emma’s place  (Välkkylä 4 C 28 ;-) 

You are most welcome to come and sing and listen and maybe learn some new songs. Most of the songs will be English-language (contemporary Christian music and classic old hymns and choruses). If there are songs you’d like us to sing or songs in a different language you would like to teach to others, email the words to me over the next few weeks so we can print out a selection: emmahaskins[at]gmail.com

Also, if you can play the guitar or another instrument, bring it along. Otherwise just bring your voice (and it doesn’t matter if you can’t sing on tune…) There will be some refreshments. You can let me know if you plan to come or you can just turn up on the night!

International Church Days

This year’s International Church Days will take place in Vaasa 25 – 27.4.2008 at the Evangelical Folk High School (Evangeliska Folkhögskolan i Österbotten). They will be hosted by the Evangelical Lutheran Parish Union of Vaasa. Take part in Bible studies, praise and prayers, workshops, songs of silence, music etc. Here’s the programme in detail and a link to the online registration.
